GISELLE

With it's beautiful music, graceful choreography, and heartfelt story, this romantic ballet has endured the test of time; 183 years later, Giselle continues to be one of the most well-known and loved classical ballets of all time. Adaptations of the original choreography have been passed down through the generations, with the restating by Marius Petipa in the 1880s for the Imperial Ballet in St. Petersburg being the most notable. 10th – 11th May 2025

Tony Award-winning musical “The Wiz,” adapted from “The Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum. The highly anticipated Broadway revival of “The Wiz” returns “home” to stages across America in an all-new Pre-Broadway tour, the first one in 40 years. The tour begins in “The Wiz’s” original home city of Baltimore, where the show made its world premiere 50 years ago. 13th – 18th May 2025

GREEK FEST NEW ORLEANS

The sounds of Greek music fill the air, as does the wonderful aroma of Greek food during this indoor and outdoor fete. There is dancing and feasting, and of course ouzo – sold by the bottle or the shot at the quaint taverna set up at the festival. There are also Greek wines to sample along with iced Greek coffee. There are kids activities and fabulous, colorful arts and crafts for sale. 24th – 26th May 2025
