Getting Around

Walking – The great thing about the south coast is that it’s easy walking and a great way to absorb the culture of the island. Take to the streets or walk along the beach, we recommend you carry a bottle of water with you. In the evenings it’s best to take a taxi.

By Bus – The ZR’s or Boogie Buses are a great way to explore – simply stand at a bus stop or just stick out your hand and wrap on the ceiling to disembark. A flat fee for every ride at 3.50 BD$ a person also makes it great value.

By Taxi – A great way to get from A to B or hire one for a few hours to give you a tour; they are usually knowledgeable and keen to give you their view on life. We recommend pre-booking at reception to provide an expeditious service or if you are out and about download the new ‘Pick Up’ app, it’s our version of Uber.

By Car – Hiring a car is one of THE best ways to explore the island. It’s so easy and everyone is super friendly and helpful. There are many options, and the packages come with full insurance and 24-hour support. Between May – October there are special offers. Ask the team for details.
